Hello, Sewing World!
After a few years of talking about it, I'm finally committing to taking the time to share my creative thoughts and adventures with all of you. There are SO MANY things that I'm looking forward to sharing with you!
Before I get too carried away with my projects, let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Neysa (knee-suh) and I'm a sewist and dog mom from small town Indiana. I spend as much of my free time as I can creating things behind the sewing machine. I have two baby girls and they're the sweetest fur kids you'll ever meet!
A few years ago, with the encouragement of my best friend, Ashley, I dug my sewing machine out of the back corner of the closet, dusted it off and started making things. I say "things" because some of my finished products were less than identifiable. Thanks to Pinterest, I had a multitude of patterns and tutorials at my fingertips and with every project, I improved. Since then, there have been very few days that I haven't spent time at my sewing machine and my skills have grown more and more each project.
Building a small business from my home, in addition to a full time job and an additional business outside of the home, that is centered around making handmade goods has been a challenge to say the least. Over the last few years I've made many different items, taken custom orders, gifted bags and quilts and have slowly worked up to this moment. As I move forward with this adventure I hope to show you many beautiful creations!
